Six members enjoyed a day out exploring the best of North Wales – the sun even made an appearance too!
The weather didn’t stop a small group of SCD members who met at Chester Services for our North Wales drive. With the original list of 14 now with just 6 cars, we headed out into the damp Welsh hills to be met by sunshine. With a stop for a steak sandwich, the group continued on to the coastline at Llandudno by which time the skies were bright blue, the F430 Spider and 650 spyder’s roofs were down for the drive up to the Great Orme.
A great photoshoot spot presented itself by the cliff edge across from a church – luckily the owners of a Corsa and Meriva parked in the same location came back to their cars and moved at just the right time.
Rather than continuing all the way down the coast to Black Rock Sands, we made some noise in the tunnels on the way to Bangor then turned back towards England via Snowdonia, taking stunning scenery and hot summer sunshine!
