From a bit of fun to over 80 million views, this is the story of 15 years on YouTube for Supercar Driver.
YouTube started as just a bit of fun for us - back in 2010, it was Adam with a handy-cam, capturing memories and sharing the incredible cars we were lucky enough to experience. As the platform grew, so did we. From 2012 our approach started to change, we had our first big break in 2015 and from there focussed on high-quality prductions immortalising these cars in film .
And that’s where SCD TV was born…
This is the video that lit the fuse for everything that followed. What started as a simple clip, went viral, racking up over 21 million views!!
Without this video, there’s a good chance our YouTube journey wouldn’t have taken off at all. It didn’t just showcase the Enzo’s brutal acceleration - it showed us what this channel could become.
Naturally Aspirated Heroes is Supercar Driver’s tribute to the raw, unfiltered thrill of driving with over 15 films so far. From the Murciélago SV to the 458 Speciale and CLK Black Series we spotlight the greatest naturally aspirated cars ever built.
These cars matter to us because they represent a dying breed of driver-focused performance, and we’re here to celebrate them while we still can.

At our 2015 Diamond 9 event, TT legend Guy Martin jumped behind the wheel of an SCD member’s Ferrari FXX — and drove it like he stole it. No helmet, no prior laps of the circuit, just raw instinct, laser focus, and flat-out commitment.
One of our own members, Chris Palmer, has lived the dream most petrol-heads can only imagine. He’s owned two McLaren F1s, a fleet of F40s – including an ultra-rare F40 LM – plus a Zonda S and even a road-legal Porsche 962.
And the best bit? He didn’t just collect them. He used them – back when these icons were still cars, not priceless museum pieces.
An emotive film with dearest John, who was a part of Supercar Driver from the early days. We learn about his life with cars, how he ended up owning his F40, and what other cool cars he's had in that time. The moral of John's story is that if you own a supercar, get out and drive it and don't have any regrets! Life is too short.
In 2015, whilst the rest of the world was still thinking about it, we just did it. We brought together the Holy Trinity for a world-exclusive group test.
The McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, and Porsche 918 Spyder — all in private hands — united for the first time across three locations:
Silverstone National Circuit, Santa Pod Raceway, and a private runway.
This was the ultimate hypercar shootout… before the world was watching.
Every year, while others are busy collecting Christmas trees, we take a different route. We head to Wales for a few days to create something special - a cinematic celebration of iconic cars that goes beyond the festive norm.
Our annual Christmas films have become a tradition in its own right, launched during the holiday break when our members and subscribers are relaxing, off work, and ready to indulge in some quality automotive content.
This year, we’re bringing back a favourite: NA Heroes - Class of 2010.
The brand-new series features three films, dropping between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day - a perfect way to round off the year with three soul-stirring modern classics in full 4K glory - a V12, V8, and a Flat-Six to be precise.
We’re only halfway through 2025, and we’re just getting started.
