Limited-Run Aston Martin Valkyrie LM Revealed

Hardcore, limited-run Valkyrie promises to be close to identical to Aston Martin's endurance racecar.

In case the 1,160hp Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar or even the track-only AMR Pro version aren't quite wild enough for you, here's what you've been wishing for, the Valkyrie LM.

If you're thinking that person is likely to be pretty few and far between, well, that's no problem. There only need to be 10 people crazy enough in the entire world, because just 10 will be made, as 'the pinnacle of present-day endurance motorsport'.

The Valkyrie LM promises a driving experience directly comparable to the elite performance levels of sportscar racing's pinnacle Hypercar class, and in a similar way to Ferrari's XX programme, Aston Martin can keep and maintain the car for you, and transport it to and from Valkyrie LM Performance Club venues to run on a 'fly-in-and-drive' basis — and you thought Supercar Driver was exclusive!

As part of the LM Performance Club, there will be a dedicated driver development programme to help you get the best from your very own Le Mans racecar on some of the world's greatest tracks.

Right, so what exactly is the Valkyrie LM? Well, it still has the same stratospheric 6.5-litre Cosworth V12, though rather than the road-going Valkyrie's 1,160hp, this produces 707 more akin to the Valkyrie AMR-LMH Le Mans racer. Funny how road cars have so much more power than racecars these days, isn't it? It also retains the seven-speed sequential gearbox and fully adjustable racing suspension, though the electronics have had a few tweaks to make the car more user friendly for customers who likely aren't endurance racing champions. Bespoke performance tyres from Pirelli are also fitted instead of full-on racing slicks.

For all intents and purposes though, this is as near as you'll get to the Valkyrie AMR-LMH that raced at Le Mans, and Aston Martin is keen to emphasise that incredibly cool point.

"It is important to emphasise that the Valkyrie LM is close to identical to the race car that is currently competing in WEC and IMSA, with only a few minor deviations to ensure it is a non-homologated variant and is accessible for customers to experience and enjoy. Valkyrie LM represents the most authentic Hypercar track experience that is now available." — Adam Carter, Aston Martin’s Head of Endurance Motorsport.

The LM programme will launch in the second quarter of 2026, with track events promised at F1-standard race circuits. If you're one of the 10, congratulations, you have done a very good job of life.
