Ferrari SC40 – The F40’s Weird, Rich Grandchild

Not many people know the full story of Supercar Driver, where it started, why it started, and how it’s evolved over the last fifteen years.
Back in 2010, this all began with nothing more than a dream, a few like-minded friends, and a shared love of cars. We didn’t have a business plan or any real idea of what it would become, just a passion for driving and the joy that came from bringing people together through cars.
What started with handing out flyers and organising small local meets soon began to grow. Before I knew it, we were hosting drives, track days, tours, and events that connected people from all over the UK, people who shared that same enthusiasm, not just for the cars themselves, but for the experiences and friendships that came with them.
Fifteen years on, I look at what Supercar Driver has become; the community, the memories, the incredible events we’ve built and it’s something I’m immensely proud of. This milestone felt like the perfect time to pause, look back, and share that story properly for the first time.
So we’ve created a short film - The Story of Supercar Driver, where I take you through that journey, alongside some of the key people who helped shape it along the way. It’s a story about passion, perseverance, community, and the belief that if you truly love what you do, great things can happen.
The cars will always be special, that’s the glue that brought us all together, but at its heart, Supercar Driver has always been about the people. The friendships, the shared experiences, the memories we’ve made together over the years.
Watching the film back makes me quite emotional. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s been part of it, whether you were there from the beginning or have only just joined the adventure.
The 18th of October 2025 marked a significant milestone. 15 years to the day since Supercar Driver was incorporated. We celebrated that milestone in style with a big party in Manchester. To everyone who joined us, thank you for being part of it, and to those who couldn’t make it, thank you all the same — your support over the years means just as much.
I truly hope you enjoy watching this film as much as I’ve enjoyed living this story. Here’s to the next chapter.
